About Us

Hi, my name is Alexis Jansen and I am a student at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. There I study agribusiness and have a minor in the Engler Entrepreneurship program. I am involved in many clubs as well. I have always had a dream of owning my own business, from hand print tuts on copy paper selling them at my moms work, having a binder where I make cupcakes or Rainbow Loom bracelets, or even take pictures. I DID IT ALL! I then started Jansen Customs in high school, 2019, and sold welded art and furniture. In college I was in a class where I was graded on starting a business in one semester, I made custom door signs and sold over 200 made-to-order, completely customized in one year. I wanted to bring on more so that is when I took my shopping addiction and flipped it to a business!

I have always loved to shop and most of the times I can never find something that accommodates boobs that are not A cups and do not ride on my armpits causing me to pit out. If anyone here knows me personally, this is a huge problem for me! I connected with some AWESOME mentors who have been helping me throughout this and have learned so much and have gained a ton of confidence in launching.

In March of 2023, I went to the Dallas Market with my mom. I was so overwhelmed, I cried, I had no idea what I got myself into and I was being pulled between a passion and the words of "you have your whole life to work." My entrepreneurial spirit took lead and by the last day I had debt and a ton of packages on the way. From then I have been self-guiding myself though this while balancing the rest of life.

My life strives in constant chaos so why not add more?! I am working at Frontier Cooperative this summer and will be tending to my boutique on the weekends and nights. I also love to "hang out" (babysit) kiddos and watch them grow! You may also find me at Hy-Vee on 180th and Q St.

In my free time, I enjoy riding four wheelers, hanging out with my boyfriend, Briar, taking naps, helping out on the family farm, and bow-fishing.

I cannot wait to see where this goes, I have larger plans but have to start somewhere! Happy shopping!

To add for any of my House of Colour girls, I am an AUTUMN!
